Dearest friends, family, colleagues, past collaborators, and all—
I am over the moon to announce — Finally — (and this is with a capital F for FINALLY) — the official release of my artists' website to the public, robertbuonaspina.com.
(Cover art by Linnea Lieth)
I try not to hyperbolize matters, but I can confidently say that creating this online artists’ portfolio, built from scratch, has been one of the most massive undertakings of my life — a portly almost three (3) years in the making, with its first draft making its appearance way back in late 2019.
Lots of music, new and old — would mean the world to me if you are able to check it out!
A preview of my new, 13-min "Chorinho em Vôo Três" for clarinet protagonist and Big Band
Featuring Jasper Dütz on C Clarinet 😈
Included in the website are:
A custom, animated home page, with a central interactive graphic (an illustration, and its subsequent colorways, commissioned for the wonderful Linnea Lieth)
A custom-built, user-responsive music Catalog (in interactive or C.V. view) that showcases some of the works I have written and made public — ranging from solo to full symphonic orchestra + big band. This Catalog database, with all of its filtering systems, was the crux of the website work, and many sub-projects emerged out of this system — including a full YouTube Channel dedicated to Score-Study and edited live performance videos — as well as an online store database with some of my scores for sale, yadda-yadda...
An Events page (in interactive, C.V., or calendar view, that filters and relates into the following next point—>)
Several subpages for myself as a musician, each with their own internal portfolio-sites. This includes, but is not limited to: a portfolio of my work as a professional copyist, producer, educator, organist/director of music, and more.
Many other items, as well, such as the full release of my blog, media/press, supplementary educational resources, etc.

The work of this website will always be ongoing — as I update events, projects, and things going on in my professional life, especially — but at this checkpoint — specifically, 25 years and 365 days of life today — I've decided I'm better off releasing this site before it outlives me.
I am beholden to the long list of people who have assisted me along the way in the materialization of my online portfolio. You may view a full list of credits here.
Lastly, if you are receiving this email, you are signed up for my [very-unobtrusive] mailing list — which I promise not to engage with more than a few times a year (at max), with upcoming projects, events, and music to share with you all. If you wish to opt-out for any reason, you can opt out below.
THANK YOU!
With much love,
Robert T. Buonaspina
